What should I do when Kattia shows out-of-date data?

Sometimes the page shows information that is a little behind.

A refresh usually fixes it. This article lists the signs and the steps, from the quickest to the most thorough.

Signs you need to refresh

  • An application count looks wrong.

  • A deleted application still appears.

  • A stage change doesn't show on the board.

  • Your plan looks wrong in Settings › Account.

  • An import finished but the new applications are missing.

Refresh the page

  1. Reload the page. Press Ctrl+R (Cmd+R on a Mac), or use your browser's refresh button.

  2. If the page still looks wrong, do a hard refresh. Press Ctrl+Shift+R (Cmd+Shift+R on a Mac). This skips the copy your browser stored.

  3. If that doesn't help, close the browser tab, open Kattia again and sign in if asked.

  4. As a last step, sign out and sign back in. Open Settings › Account and select Sign out. You can also select Sign out from the account menu.

After an import

Closing the import window doesn't stop an import. Open Add application again to check on it. If new applications don't appear when the import finishes, reload the page.

Check your plan

Reload the page, then open Settings › Account. The Plan row shows your current plan. Today every account has Growth, so the row shows Growth. If it shows something else after a reload, contact support.

If refreshing doesn't help

  • Check your connection. Make sure other websites load. Try a different network.

  • Try another browser.

  • Try a private window. It turns off most browser extensions, which can interfere with the page.

  • Clear your browser's stored data for Kattia. Use your browser's settings to clear the cache for the Kattia site only.

When to contact support

Contact support if:

  • the data still looks wrong after you try more than one browser

  • an application count is clearly incorrect

  • you think data is missing

Open the account menu and choose Contact support. Tell us what you expected to see, what you saw and what you have tried.
