Set up your account

You can create a Kattia account with your email and a password, or with Google.

Each account belongs to one person.

Create your account

  1. Open the sign-up page. Its heading is Create your account.

  2. Tick the box to accept the Terms and Privacy Policy. You need to tick it whichever way you sign up.

  3. Choose how to sign up: - Enter your email address and a password, then select Create account. - Or select Google under Or continue with.

  4. If you used a password, Kattia shows a Check your email screen and sends you a sign-in link. Open the link on the same device. It confirms your address and signs you in. If the email does not arrive, wait for the countdown to finish, then select Resend link. If you mistyped your address, select Change it.

Password requirements

A password needs all of the following:

  • At least 8 characters

  • A lowercase letter

  • An uppercase letter

  • A number

  • A special character, such as ! or @

The sign-up form ticks off each requirement as you type.

What happens next

After you sign in for the first time, Kattia opens onboarding. It has four short steps: your details, your first applications, your resume and a welcome screen. The onboarding walkthrough covers each step.

Where to find settings later

Open your account menu at the bottom of the sidebar and select Settings, or press Cmd+, (Mac) or Ctrl+, (Windows and Linux). On a phone, select More in the tab bar, then Settings. Settings has these sections:

  • Account for your name and photo, your email and sign-in method, your plan, Security, Download data and Delete account

  • Suggested roles for the role suggestions you see

  • Connected inbox for connecting or disconnecting your email

  • Notifications for the reminders and updates Kattia sends you

  • Privacy for Help improve Kattia and Analytics cookies

  • Appearance for System, Light or Dark, saved on this browser
