This article explains each one, how to reset a password and how Kattia keeps your session safe.
Sign-in methods
Google: on the sign-in page, select Google under "Or continue with". Google manages your password, so you change it with Google.
Email and password: enter your email address and password, then select Sign in. Kattia stores a hashed password, never the password itself. A password needs at least 8 characters, with a lowercase letter, an uppercase letter, a number and a special character.
Use a password you do not use anywhere else. A password manager helps.
To see which method your account uses, open Settings › Account and check the Signed in via row.
Sign out
Open the account menu and select Sign out. You can also select Sign out in Settings › Account. Sign out when you use a shared computer.
Automatic sign-out
If you leave Kattia open without using it for 30 minutes, Kattia signs you out. Moving the mouse, typing, clicking, scrolling or touching the screen in Kattia counts as use. Sign in again to continue.
Change your password
If you sign in with email and password:
Open Settings › Account.
Under Security, select Email password reset link.
Open the link in the email and choose a new password.
If you sign in with Google, the Security section says "Managed by Google".
Reset a forgotten password
On the sign-in page, select Forgot password?.
Enter your email address and select Send reset link. A "Check your email" page appears.
Open the link in the email. The link expires after a short time.
Enter a New password, enter it again in Confirm password, then select Update password. Kattia signs you in and opens your pipeline.
If the link has expired, select Request a new link.
If you lose access to your email account, contact support. Kattia verifies your identity before it helps, which can take time.
Two-factor authentication and passkeys
Kattia does not offer two-factor authentication (2FA) or passkeys yet. In Settings › Account › Security, the Two-factor authentication (2FA) row shows Not set up and says it isn't available yet.
If you see activity you did not expect
If you see sign-ins, changes or applications you do not recognise:
Change your password. If you sign in with Google, secure your Google account.
Contact support.
To report a vulnerability in Kattia, see Reporting a security issue.
