Is my data private?

Your pipeline is private to your account.

Kattia does not sell your data and does not use your application content to train public AI models.

Who can see your data

  • You. You have full access to everything you add.

  • Kattia systems. They store, process and serve your data so the product works.

  • No other users. Kattia is single-user by design, with no teams, shared inboxes or collaboration features. Database rules also restrict each account to its own data.

How Kattia protects your data

  • In transit: all traffic uses TLS 1.2 or higher.

  • At rest: the database is encrypted by the hosting provider.

  • Sign-in: you can sign in with Google or with an email and password. Kattia stores a password hash, not your password. Sessions are kept in cookies managed by Supabase Auth, our sign-in provider.

  • Hosting: Kattia runs on Vercel and Supabase.

Services that handle your data

Service providers that handle your data include:

  • Supabase for the database and sign-in

  • Stripe for payments

  • An AI model provider, when you use features that read or write text. Your inputs, such as job descriptions, are sent to the provider to produce your result.

  • Resend for emails Kattia sends you

  • PostHog and Google Analytics for product analytics. Analytics cookies are optional and need your consent. To change your choice, open Settings › Privacy and use Analytics cookies.

  • Vercel and Sentry for hosting, logs and error monitoring

  • Intercom for this help centre and Contact support

  • Google, only if you connect your email

Suggested roles

Suggested roles are on by default. While they're on, Kattia sends your target role, location, resume and, if you allow it, your applications to an AI model provider to find and rank roles. Job-listing services see only the searches. Turn this off in Settings › Suggested roles.

If you connect your email

Connecting your email is optional, and every account can connect it today. Kattia asks Google for read-only access to your Gmail messages and the events on your primary Google Calendar. Kattia uses them to match job-related messages and interviews to your applications. Kattia never sends email as you.

To disconnect, open Settings › Connected inbox, select Disconnect…, then confirm with Disconnect Google. You can also remove Kattia's access from your Google account permissions page.

Keep or delete your data

Your data stays while your account is active. To delete your account, open Settings › Account, select Delete account… and confirm with your email address. Kattia deletes the account after a 30-day grace period. To cancel before then, sign in and select Cancel deletion in Settings › Account. Backups are kept for 30 days and then purged. Stripe keeps billing records where the law requires it.

To keep a copy first, select Download data in Settings › Account, or use Export at the bottom of the sidebar for a CSV of your pipeline.
